With the increase in stress people have been feeling due to financial worries and overwork, it’s no surprise that many are turning to drugs and alcohol to escape their unhappiness. They believe having a few drinks at night or a cigarette on their lunch break is harmless enough. After a while, though, these habits can grow more serious. Stress can make you more inclined to become dependent on drugs, or to start using drugs in the first place.
