Many soldiers returning from war are benefiting from a new best friend. Service dogs have been shown to lessen the severity of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder for soldiers who are injured or are recovering from the experiences of war. Unfortunately, it is becoming more difficult for soldiers to keep their service dogs with them, particularly on military bases.
