Multitasking has become the norm for most people today. Between texting, watching TV, and surfing the Web, it’s becoming less common for anyone to relax without the distraction provided by electronics use.

People who use multiple forms of technology at one time are shown to exhibit more signs of anxiety and depression. Researchers are not yet sure of whether the multitasking causes mental health problems or if people with poor mental health are simply more prone to multitask with electronics.
