I can understand the use of aromatherapy in anxiety. There are certain scents which trigger a feeling of calm in someone including the scent of “home”, which is different in everyone. If you can reproduce a scent which reminds you of a happier time, I can imagine it would help in relieving stress and therefore relieving anxiety. Makes perfect sense to me.
