Adult Insomnia May be Linked to Fear of the Dark

A research study that was recently conducted in Toronto suggests that, for some, insomnia may be caused by fear of the dark. In the controlled study, 46% of poor sleepers admitted to being afraid of the dark (compared to only 26% of those who sleep soundly). The research was recently presented at the annual meeting of the Associated Professional Sleep Societies.
